The Clark County Chamber of Commerce’s
Mission is to work with partners and members to increase business
opportunities in Clark County. As a member of the Clark County Chamber
of Commerce, you will be involved in creating opportunities in Clark
County, and, you will be the first to benefit from them.
As a businessperson, you understand the importance of visibility, networking, community
recognition, Public Advocacy, and education in your business success. Membership
in the Clark County Chamber of Commerce offers you the opportunity to increase your
business’ effectiveness in all of these areas.
VISIBILITY
The Chamber’s website www.ClarkChamber.com is built on leading
edge technology. As a member, you can create a one page “informational
brochure” for your organization or have a direct link to your
website, so any one of our thousands of visitors can find your organization
quickly and easily. You can also update your organization’s
page directly online as often as needed, and can add pictures /
text for a full description of your organization capabilities.
Your membership will be announced in the next mailing to members. Additionally, you
will be able to advertise on the website, in the Chamber’s regular mailings
to about 10,000 community members in Clark County.
NETWORKING
Clark County Business Roundtable brings together leaders of Clark County businesses,
educational institutions and government in a semi-annual event to learn about future
plans and business opportunities in Clark County.
Speaker Series is an interactive event that allows Clark County
business to network as well as benefit from focused presentations on topics relevant
to running a successful business in Clark County.
COMMUNITY RECOGNITION
Your
chamber membership will be announced to the community and recognized with an optional membership
placard. Your membership is clear sign of your commitment and support of the community.
PUBLIC ADVOCACY
Chamber members will have the opportunity to influence public agenda
through participation on committees and in forums such as Candidate's Forum. By networking
and partnering with other community leaders, members can effect
positive changes that will benefit Clark County residences and businesses.
BUSINESS SERVICES
The Chamber offers customized business services and creates a forum for business leaders to share best practices.
EDUCATION
Business
and Technology is a series of educational programs covering areas of
member interest, from business planning and finance to technology. As a member, you
will be able to benefit from the expertise of others as well as have a forum to showcase
your own talents. So, let us know if you have expertise that matches this program.
Chamber Online Forum is an online discussion group dedicated to
connecting those with questions to those who may have the answers. As a member, you
can make inquiries or provide answers in your areas of expertise.
The annual cost of Chamber membership is $180 for your organization plus $5 per full time
equivalent employee. Organizations which are members of one of the Clark County city
chambers will receive a 20% rebate on the Clark County Chamber membership dues.
Last, but not least, the Chamber ‘s Board of Directors is
elected by and from its members. Therefore, the success of the Chamber
is built on the success and involvement of its members.
