Speakers Series :: "Republican Gubernatorial Candidate"

The Clark County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a series of keynote speakers at our monthly meetings. On Tuesday, April 20, 2004, the speaker will be Senator Dino Rossi. Mr. Rossi will be speaking about his views and plans for governing the State of Washington. The event, complimentary to Clark County Chamber of Commerce members and non-members, will be at the Best Inn & Suites, 7001 NE Hwy 99, Vancouver (Hazel Dell, south of 78th street) from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. The meeting will start with introductions followed by the speaker's presentation and closes with networking time.

Senator Dino Rossi

Dino Rossi was elected to the Washington State Senate in 1996 from East King County’s 5th District. He was Chairman of the budget-writing Ways and Means Committee and recently led efforts to pass a two-year state budget that eliminated the largest deficit in state history without any new taxes.

In addition to his duties on the Senate Ways and Means Committee, Rossi served on the Economic Development Committee and has prior experience on the Energy, Technology and Telecommunications Committee and the Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation Committee. He is a former Deputy Leader of the Senate Republican Caucus and serves on the Senate Republican Campaign Committee.
